Suggested Itinerary

Day 1
Flight Dublin/Hamburg. Coach to Berlin for overnight stay.

Day 2
Your group may like to visit some of Berlin’s famous landmarks including The Reichstag, Parliament Buildings, Brandenburg Gate, Victory Column and the Alexanderplatz in former East Berlin. Afternoon visits can be arranged to Sachsenhausen concentration camp or Checkpoint Charlie Museum, which depicts how people succeeded or failed in their escapes from East Berlin.

Day 3
Today your group may like to visit television tower for a panoramic view of the city followed by a canal cruise before visiting Potsdamer Platz area site of the Reich Chancellory and Hitler’s Bunker.

Day 4
Free time for shopping this morning possibly followed by a visit to the Olympic Stadium.

Day 5
Return to Hamburg for flight to Dublin.

Accommodation

JGH KLUCKSTRASSE YOUTH HOSTEL

10 minutes from the U-Bahn Station, Nollendorferplatz. Usually 4/5 bedded rooms with washbasins. Bathrooms on corridors. Teachers rooms are normally 2-3 bedded rooms with showers. Singles not possible. You must tidy rooms
and make beds etc. Self service meals.

YOUTH GUEST HOUSE

Well located in the centre of Berlin, facilities include a pleasant dining room, meeting rooms and a TV room. Accommodation is mainly in six bedded rooms (three bunks) with shower and toilet facilities on each floor.
