Three Day Coach Tour
Day 1 School to New Lanark
Depart school by coach for Belfast/Larne
crossing to Scotland and on to New Lanark.
Afternoon visit to Visitor Centre with dark ride
linking New Lanark to the Millennium. This is
followed by guided tour of New Lanark village.
Day 2 Edinburgh Castle/Deep Sea World
After breakfast depart by coach to Edinburgh
where an official guide will meet your party for
a conducted tour of the city, taking in the major
points of interest including entrance into
Edinburgh Castle. Afternoon visit to Deep Sea
World, North ueensferry. Choose your topic for
an exploration programme with an Education
Officer. Return to New Lanark for evening meal.
Evening visit to Time Capsule, Coatbridge
where you can splash, slide or swim followed
by ice-skating.
Day 3 Glasgow Science Centre
Depart after breakfast with packed lunch for a
visit to the Glasgow Science Centre which
houses over 300 interactive exhibits and a
choice of science demonstrations, e-learning
resources.labs, exhibitions and multi-media
shows.

Stirling
4 Day Coach Tour
Day 1 School to Vikingar/Stirling
Depart school by coach for Belfast/Larne
crossing to Scotland and on to Largs for a visit
to Vikingar, the story of the vikings in Scotland.
Day 2 Wallace Monuments/Stirling
Jail/Bowling - Morning visit to the Wallace
Monument to meet William Wallace, the
inspiration for braveheart and other famous
Scots in the hall of heroes. This is followed
by a visit to Stirling’s old Town Jail. Make
acquaintance with Stirling’s notorious town
hangmen. Afternoon relaxing with two games
of 10 pin bowling.
Day 3 Stirling Castle/Safari Park
Morning visit to Stirling Castle without doubt
the grandest of all Scottish castles both in
situation and architecture. Afternoon visit to
Blair Drummond Safari Park. Drive amongst wild
animals, performing sea lions, boat safari and
chimpanzee island and adventure playground.
Day 4 Falkirk Wheel/Coach to School
Take a trip by canal boat on The Wheel. In total
the two gondolas lift 600 tonnes - that’s the
weight of around 100 elephants! Continue to
port and coach to school.
